You’ll have to think hard about Back To The Future 2 to remember the inspiration for these shoes that auto-tie. Seriously, I thought i was lazy wearing those lace-less Chuck Taylors but damn, the world can become more sloth-y:

The shoes are cool and all but WHERE THE HELL IS MY HOVERBOARD?!?!

I don’t know anything about the cause that Vedder and company are fighting for on Larry King Live. As Vedder says, it takes years to learn of reading to learn all the intricacies of the crime/case, but Eddie seems committed.

Funny that a film on HBO first got him involved in the case. Ed doesn’t strike me as an HBO type guy. Think he watches Entourage? He’s probably more of a The Wire type guy!

I was just doing research for my part of our “Top 107 Songs from the Beginning of The End” countdown that starts tomorrow and came across this pivotal moment from my childhood.

If there was a time I ever thought about using drugs, seeing Jesse Spano’s decent into the darkness got those thoughts right out of my head.

Scott Weiland from STP is a man of many talents.

Without question one of the most charismatic rock front-men of the last 20 years.  He’s also an author, a poet, a big fan of Notre Dame Football, drug addict, convicted felon etc.

Well, now we can add one more thing to that long list of accomplishments…creator of a Christmas Album.

Yes, Weiland is bringing the Yuletide cheer this holiday season revealing in a recent interview that he is in the middle of recording the album now.

“I’m picking various versions of these songs because they’ve been covered so many times,” said Weiland.

There’s rumored to be a reggae version of “Little Drummer Boy.” and a couple of secular songs thrown in there as well.

This isn’t his first time tackling the genre….if you remember he did “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” last year

P.S. We’re hearing that STP will return to the NW for a big show sometime in late October/Early November.  Keep listening to The End for details.
