The day after Dave Grohl’s band the Foo Fighters won 5 Grammy’s the busiest man in rock unveiled the trailer for a documentary he recently made about his favorite recording studio: Sound City.

The project honoring the famed LA Studio will feature a laundary list of music A-listers including Trent Reznor, Joshua Homme, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Krist Novoselic, Cheap Trick, Lars Ulrich and many more.

From Craveonline (via COS):
“The list of people that recorded there is like a virtual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We recorded Nevermind there back in 1991. That funky old place had the best drum room in the world. The drum sound at the beginning of ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit?’ That’s Sound City.”
