Whenever i am in a hard place, I always revert back to the Beck album Sea Change. Quite possibly the saddest piece of work in my collection. He wrote the album without a lot of beep and blurps that Beck is notorious for using in his music. It is just raw and emotional: powerful stuff.
We Beck just posted the videos they did for Sea Change on his website and this one specifically is very touching. Starts slowly with a sense of despair, features a giant sandwich, and ends with a simple pickup game of soccer.
Sea Change “Guess I’m Doin’ Fine” from Beck Hansen on Vimeo.
I’m blowed away. Yes i know blowed is not a word…
Does this type of video do anything for you?
Do you own Sea Change?
Do you have a sandwich?
