Wow. I feel like if you take Carl’s sure fire odds and bet on the Patriots, you’ll end up rich!

So, it’s unclear what roll he’ll serve, but Dave Grohl’s ship is sailing toward television! He’s teaming up with funny guy writer Dana Gould for a series about a band struggling to make it and the resulting need for therapy… wait, isn’t this the Metallica story? Gross. What we do kinda know is that Grohl’s initial title is Executive Producer (guy with money) but no word if he’ll have any screen time.
Regardless, he’s awesome at acting in this clip:

If your idea of the Best Day Ever involves eating shrimp and swimming, you should definitely become an otter. Or, at the very least, figure out how to rent some tank space at the Seattle Aquarium. Aniak is the mom and her pup is super furry and growing nicely. Check out the pup getting check ups from the vet:
Here’s visit number two:
Pups stay close to mom for the first couple of months, but thanks to the power of shrimp, a quick check up ain’t no thing.

Rob Sheridan’s strengths include art and design. He lives in LA and works with this famous piano dude, Trent Reznor. Rob started a fun photography event for this oddly long month of February. He’s using an iPhone only service called Instagram to publish photos, but why not just snap them with any smartphone and put online ANYWHERE?!? He’s the challenge that he and a friend concocted:
Here are my first two efforts. 1. Miniature:
2. Mechanical
Looks like Gumby will be my muse for the month. Follow me on Instagram @GREGR1077

Hearing all of this borophyl campaign talk about who’s gonna become the next useless leader of our country is tiresome. What if, now hear me out, what if we made those running for office be a little tougher? What if they had to pin one another to prove their strength. They’d actually have to put something on the line physically. Lions do it. I present a recycled idea: FEATS OF STRENGTH
“Well, they have the airing of grievances covered,” says Ryan from promotions. Touche.

For any nerd that got picked on for liking things like computers or robots as a kid, the time comes when you can validate your interests and possibly become benevolent leader/maniacal overlord of the Earth with stuff like a swarm of nano quadrotors:
I know it’s just a movie, but Terminator presents some pretty valid concerns like… ROBOTS WORKING TOGETHER TO KILL US!!! Careful, nerd.

Having the dedication – or over demanding parents – to become a skilled classical musician is often overlooked in lieu of someone that has a dumb haircut/image and can scream terrible lyrics over poorly played music. It’s nice to see a man so capable to turn a traditional instrument into something moderna and interesting. Check out KO. He may start slowly, but when he mixes art forms, things get more interesting!
Thanks for sending this over, Katie P!
