End Music Discovery: 3 Previously Unreleased Nirvana Tracks

As we bask in the glory that is the 20th anniversary of the explosion of our Seattle music scene into world wide consciousness (and the spawning of that dirty G-word…) Not only is there a sudden abundance of editorials from outside sources commenting on the condition of our fair city in the post-post grunge era (I mean, we’ve graduated beyond post-grunge right?) We also have many gifts from the bands we love and helped define an era of music too influential to need a label. One such gift, the deluxe and super-deluxe re-releases of Nirvana’s seminal Nevermind, include among other goodies, never before heard demos, original mixes, and live versions. Today we get our first taste of what we’ve been missing out on in the form of one from each of those categories, a little window into the formative stages of the album that would go on to define a genre and what it might have been like to catch said band at the pinnacle of their performance.
