Thanks to Consequence of Sound for pointing out that I-Tunes has put up 30 second snippets of the new Strokes record.
We were ALREADY excited that the “Under Cover of Darkness” B-Side was going to be released tomorrow (which you can ALSO hear below).
Now a perfect preview of the album that we’ve all been waiting for.
“Angles” will be out in it’s entirety on March 22nd

CoS spotted that The Strokes new album had been upped to iTunes with the 30 second teasers of each track earlier today but has since been taken down. The End managed to grab the clips and you can go here now to preview Angles. Look out for the album which is set for release on March 22nd via RCA. [...]

I really like what they are always trying to do, but they come up short on the songwriting end. This new disc sounds a lot like the Killers with a drum machine. I give it a C+ for effort.
