Talented singer/songwriter Regina Spektor is back with a new record called “What We Saw From the Cheap Seats” which will be out in May. It’s her first record since 2009.

The record was made in LA with producer Mike Elizondo

Below is the first track from the record called “All the Rowboats” which will be on iTunes starting tomorrow (February 28th)

Spektor has also been working on music from a Broadway musical based on Sleeping Beauty. The status of that project is up in the air right now but it’s certainly something to look for in the future.

Previously unreleased, it popped up online in the wee hours this morning. No word on where this song will appear (new album? ep?).

The band also released a video for the track featuring band members driving around LA listening to the premiere of the song on legendary radio station KROQ.

YOU can see Arctic Monkeys when they open up for the Black Keys at the the Key Arena on May 8th

Because you cannot deny a collab that includes The Muppets, FOTC and singing into the mirror….Sadly all the “We Built This City” ringtones in the world couldn’t stop a juggernaut like that….but out of respect we will honor BOTH winners.
