A tv reporter down in LA got shot by two dummies with a bb gun during a live broadcast…here’s the video its rather anti climactic but obviously it could have been much worse.

Speaking of much worse, a tv reporter in Philly was attacked by a pissed off animal hoarder.

Fox 29 Reporter Attacked During Live Report: MyFoxPHILLY.com

the only weapon this guy used to hit this reporter was an ass cloud.

All does not appear well in the world of Kings of Leon

Last night’s show in Dallas was cancelled a couple songs into the set due to the apparent extreme intoxication of front-man Calib Followill. The video below shows the bands lead singer slurring through a very Winehouse-esque explanation why the show can’t go on

“I’m gonna go backstage for a second, I’m gonna vomit, I’m gonna drink a beer, then I’m gonna come back out and play three more songs”.

After a bit, there was an announcement that the show had been cancelled with the rest of the band throwing Caleb directly under the bus:

“It’s not us, it’s Caleb that can’t play. I know you guys fucking hate us…. It’s not our fault, it’s Caleb, he can’t play the rest of the show. We will be back as soon as possible.”

The band was quick to tweet apologies admitting that:

”there are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed” and ”the heat got the best of a few of us,”

There’s no telling if this is just another unfortunate incident for a band that has spent A LOT of time on the road lately (remember the bird poop?) or if we’ve seen a glimpse of a bigger problem (rehab?).

Regardless….we hope that Caleb feels better and does whatever it takes to get better

See ya next month at the Key Arena?

Thanks to anti-quiet for the first word on this

When I first came across this track earlier this week I wasn’t sure it had any sort of real place on our blog. What with Ultrasound being dead in the water at the moment and us not playing a whole lot of nu-techno, but then after being hooked on it, of COURSE it’s relevant. It’s new music from brit pop hero Jarvis Cocker (of the recently reunited Pulp). While Pulp haven’t exactly hopped on the new music band wagon just yet, this can tie you over while you wait for them to announce a US tour (or at least a one off, can you say Coachella?). The track is technically a leonard Cohen cover but any traces of the original are far removed, this version (Terminal Velocity) is also the collaborations second incarnation as the original existed sans Jarvis’ vocals. Click below to listen and get ready to get your rave on. (P.S. anyone else think Jarvis would be perfect to voice villains in every animated kids movie ever??)

As Sweet Kicks, the office indoor soccer team, continue to bask in the spotlight of success as champions, Red is still demanding the post season documentary. Bad news, lady, Sports Illustrated refuses to release the films. As a consolation prize they should offer this:

Think about it, would you rock the football phone if it were a cover for your cell phone? Maybe some Seahawks colors?
