From the most successful Our Lady Peace album, the opening track reached #40 on the End’s Top 107 of 1997. Canadian lead singer Raine Maida, who’s married to another Canadian singer Chantal Kreviazuk, has been living in Los Angeles the last few years and plans another studio album with the group in 2011.

I bet it’s because of one of two things:
1. Games that have little to no score and can end in a 0-0 tie.
2. The antics of the idiot player flopping around on the ground looking for a free kick or opportunity at a penalty shot.

Leave it to the awesome internet to research far and wide to determine the source of the flopping:

Who knew that Tom Beringer was the reason you get so mad at soccer!!! Thanks to @ArmOfCrass for posting that!

Wait a second, though I’m easily confused, I wasn’t aware that goats – or any animal – have any religious affiliation… Well, there was that talk about Moose, the now dead family dog, getting into doggy heaven. This cartoon seems to offer a different opinion of sorts:

Crafty jerk goats! Plus, they eat garbage, can’t trust that.

I would pay a sizable amount of money to watch with the writers of “The Soup” or Gabe from Videogum.com

The holiday season is the best for a number of reasons.  Music, baked goods and of course “Top” lists.

At the end of the year it seems like every media outlet imaginable takes some time to rank everything that has happened in the past year.  From best movies & tv shows to best banned alcohol laced energy drink.

Between Christmas & New Years make sure you check out The End for our very own “Best of” lists.

Today NME, the well respected British music mag released their list of the 75 best records of 2010.  Always curious what they have to say, here’s how it panned out:

01 These New Puritans – Hidden
02 Arcade Fire – The Suburbs
03 Beach House – Teen Dream
04 LCD Soundsystem – This Is Happening
05 Laura Marling – I Speak Because I Can
06 Foals – Total Life Forever
07 Zola Jesus – Strid
08 Salem – King Nigh
09 Liars – Sisterworld
10 The Drums – The Drums

see the rest of the 75 right here.

For the fifth year in a row The Killers have given us a brand new song for the holiday season.  Today “Boots” became available on i-tunes with proceeds going to benefit charity.

It’s a welcome tune from a band that currently isn’t up to much.  In fact, our friends at Consequence of Sound pointed out the funny fact that the only 2 forces that have been able to get the Killers to break their hiatus is Barack Obama & Christmas.

Think of that when ask why they aren’t playing Deck The Hall Ball :)

Over the weekend VH1 recorded it’s “Divas Salute The Troops” show in Kuwait which will air this Sunday, December 5th.

Paramore was amongst the artists that performed and during their set decided to crank out a very appropriate version of the Foo Fighters “My Hero”

Technically we weren’t supposed to see this special moment until the broadcast, however, one smart soldier with a video camera and some internet was able to sneak this clip out.

It’s a good reminder that we can’t really say thank you enough to these brave soldiers. Not only are they risking their lives everyday in the armpit of the world to make our lives easier, but they are also risking copyright infringement lawsuits from VH1 so we can enjoy sweet rock!!
