(I have so many great pics but we are having technical difficulties so just know I will post them as soon as we can get this f*cking thing to work. argh.)

So we last left off with the Edward Sharpe Endsession…Those cats are so rad its not even funny…Killer Set!  Get to know them…seriously so good.

We ran over to catch their set and not only did we watch someone puke…

but we also got to see a naked guy!! Yesssss!  Seeing a naked guy at a show is even better than a rainbow. (I also love that he is doing the white man’s overbite)

ps – i rocked my cape all day and it suffered a couple of cigarette burns and get caught on a few things but I’m pretty sure its having as much fun as I am.

Miraculously catching a guy in JORTS picking his ass.

Mike Snow was so FUN and Broken Social Scene made us melt…We caught Vampire Weekend and everyone was dancing their ass off!  Loved watching that and wow…what a breath taking view…I tried to take pictures to capture what we are seeing…but none did them justice and if you’ve been to the gorge you know exactly what i am talking about….

We made new friends and I made a guy play charades for a french fry…And being the cool cat that he was, he did.  People are FUN.

We walked back to the campground and naturally got lost…we met a guy named “Cheech’ and he let us hang out for a bit…but the real story was when we got back to our spot.

Everyone was partying…some a little too hard…we figured that out when Douchey Doucherson pissed all over the bathroom.  Ugh.  He even pissed on the toilet paper.  We talked and giggled and its great to hang with a radtastic group of people….Save for Douchey.

But little did we know when we woke up that we had a new bunkmate….yes, some guy came into our RV and passed out next to Joe…God I wish I had taken a pic of that because Joe was honest to God spooning him.  He woke up and said, “where am I?” we told him he was in our RV and he said he slept great.  So we’re glad that we could give a stranger a good night of sleep….Joe took a long shower and he still doesn’t want to talk about it.  Hilarious.

After waiting in a line for a shower and being told that it was gonna take 2 hrs to get in we decided that we would go the baby wipes route…so we are clean(ish) and ready for Day 2.

Freelance Whales are soundchecking and I’m hearing sweet stuff about them…

Come on!! we’ve got a big day ahead of us…Tegan and Sara, LCD, The xx, Massive Attack, and oh so much more.

Wish you were here…..we’re ready for hijinks…and I can only imagine the stories we will have after tonight.

All was well with the bands/performances of the day.

However, internet was down for most of the day after 12p.   We did what we could with our phones etc.  but we didn’t get to blog/recap as much as we would’ve like.

It could have been much worse.  We could have been the guy in the pic.

We’ve been told the problem is fixed, so hopefully more from Day 2 (at the hotel now, with more spotty service)

Doors just opened up.  People are streaming in.  The weather is beautiful and everyone is STOKED for a exciting weekend of music, dirt, moderate heat, tasty beers, camping and possibly rain or hail.

Sasquatch is never boring.

Also…no blog from Sasquatch would be complete without the gratuitous picture of the Gorge.  Here’s the first.

All week Ive been giving my boss hell for having to ride with him….but little did he know that he was the one to be in hell….3 hours of me and my bestie talkin about everything from how to squat and hover properly in a porta potty to anal bleaching….and yes we did flash multiple cars.

We set up camp (and by “we” i mean everyone but me) and Dandiculous was kind enough to bring enough jello shots to make the Jersey Shore happy…it was a night full of ANTICS….my bestie Val got run over by a car, we came up with a bitchin band name called  ”tennis camp”, we established that the night had a “Clue” (the game) vibe and someone might not make it thru the night and we capped it off with glowsticks naturally…Gary Coleman would’ve wanted it that way.

We woke up entirely too early but cha chas are always ready to go…that is with a little perfume…ok maybe alot of perfume.

 Dan brought the rad for packing a cape for me to rock and as you know, rocking a cape will take your day from a 7 to a 10 .. thats how you do at Sasquatch.

Its a GORGEous day…sorrry couldn’t help that.

Her most recent outburst was directed at the writer of a New York Times Magazine profile who published what she must have considered an “unflattering” article about her.

Her response was really what any modern, media saavy talent would do:  she posted his phone number on her Twitter account.  It reads:

“CALL ME IF YOU WANNA TALK TO ME ABOUT THE N Y T TRUTH ISSUE, ill b taking calls all day bitches .”

You can read the article right here.  It points at (from spinner.com) “some of the hypocrisies in M.I.A.’s personality and political viewpoints, her tendency to court controversy and her strained relationships with producer Diplo and her father.”

After posting the number, her Twitter Tirade continued with:

“NEWS IS AN OPINION! UNEDITED VERSION OF THE INTERVIEW WILL BE ON neetrecordings THIS MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!!”

Not sure what that means, but when we find out, we’ll let you know.
