Normally GregR does his little FAIL Friday bit and posts it to his blog, but today he FAILED and became the first fail on my Fail Friday post. (yes, I’m stealing your FAIL Friday blog, GregR!)
If you didn’t know by now I’m a photographer on the side, so if you were a GregR you could just imagine me as that short little photographer :[

Here’s a poke at Seattle drivers and a poke at myself for everytime GregR pokes fun of my parking skillz… 13 minutes compressed into one:
Hopefully none of you guys know anyone that can top this epic parking fail… right? RIGHT??
This week’s epic win comes in the form of a homemade bacon alarm clock!! Epic Win, srsly! I read up on this a little bit and it looks like it was a DIY setup. I just need to find an old EZ bake oven wire it up to an old alarm clock and hope I don’t start a fire!!!
I would love to wake up to a bacon alarm clock!
I’m thinking since I has a camera and I has this blog I could start doing a weekly Seattle related FAIL blog… yay? nay?
Comments!

Fox News thinks Mr Rogers is evil?!?!
WTF???
Look, telling kids that they’re special is awesome. Mr Rogers encouraged imagination, reading, and caring about neighbors – clearly the DEVIL! Well the fine folks at Fox are suggesting that Mr Rogers potentially ruined a generation of children filling them with socialist agendas based on equality. WHAT??!?
Real nice, jerks!

might be a little more serious than you think
however, if you put that music under video of me playing fusion frenzy at 10p, it will also seem ultra dramatic

Oy. Ok so today was one of those days….You know the kind where no matter what you do to make it better it gets worse? I felt like a snail getting salt poured on me by some awful 7 year old …So lets focus on the positives. The bright spots if you will…
If you have not listened to my podcasts with Jordin Silver, give them a shot! Jordin and I have a lot of fun together and I think you can relate to the weirdness of our lives….This week we posted FRESH PODS! In “Ghosts”, Jordin says she doesn’t believe in ghosts…I on the other hand used to work at a giftshop that ws supposedly haunted and I refused to go to the basement to restock. No way. I also would not go to the bathroom with the door closed which made it very awkward for the customers. Needless to say I did not last long. So I challenged Jordin “I’m not scurrred” Silver to spending the night in a haunted house…Know of one locally??
What do you think of the term “Rockstar”?? Clearly my buddy’s FB status indicates he is over it:
“Can we please, please, please, please, please stop using the word rockstar? It’s such a glammy, meaningless, egocentric term for a wasteoid of a human who leads a life reprehensible by all standards and desirable by weak minded posers. There, I said it.”
Is it overexposed? I think there are always 3 different types of criteria that define an overexposed term:
Is your Mom using it in an attempt to be hip? Check.
Is it on Kids clothing and school supplies? Check.
Is it the title of a Nickelback song? BIG CHECK.
so there it is folks…time to get a new term.
ps – on a total random note I want adult sized big wheels…you see all these weird bicycles around town and yet why has no one invented an adult sized big wheel?? Lets make it happen.

Jack White continues his noble fight against technology kicking and screaming.
When approached about streaming the new Dead Weather album on Myspace before it’s release, he said…sure, but we need to do it my way.
His way is setting up a life stream of a record player playing the analog vinyl version of “Sea of Cowards” which will be out on May 1tth.
Pretty awesome.
Rumor has it that The Dead Weather will be back in the NW for the Capitol Hill Block Party in July….until then…
If you need to see ‘em before then, they’ll be performing Sea of Cowards live in it’s entirety at the Nashville HQ of White’s Third Man Records on Monday. You’ll be able to stream the gig live via their MySpace page starting at 3 P.M.
Watch/Listen right here (be quick, this ends Saturday, May 1st at 10a)

Since Malcom McLaren (former Sex Pistols manager), died earlier this year, I feel like I’m learning more and more about this band (and I already thought I knew a lot…I didn’t)
Example:
Did you know that in the 70’s, the Sex Pistols started making a movie called “Who Killed Bambi?”. It was there punk rock repsonse to the Beatles “A Hard Days Night”
They actually got pretty far in the process.
Acclaimed film critic Roger Ebert wrote the screenplay and Russ Meyer (Beyond The Valley of the Dolls) was on board to direct.
They even managed to film a few scenes before the studio pulled the plug on the project.
In the wake of McClaren’s death, Ebert recently posted the entire script on his blog at the Chicgo Sun Times here
Plus here’s an interesting video about how things went down

Last year, most of the end staff took off Halloween weekend and went to New Orleans for the VooDoo Festival.
It was a blast, the city was amazing and the show was killer.
Here are some highlights.
This year, the festival goes down in New Orleans’ City Park, Friday, October 29, Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31
Healthy rumors are already circulating that Muse will be a headliner
Pre-sale tickets are available now and are as cheap as they are going to be.
A limited number of three-day general admission tickets for $129 and weekend LOA (VIP) passes priced at $375 can be purchased right now www.thevoodooexperience.com.
I can say from experience….New Orleans is about as cool a place to spend Halloween as any.
