Getting pretty sick of the Vampire craze. It made me sad to see a movie preview for a different vampire setting with John C Reilly. WHY DID YOU SELL OUT JOHN?!?! Kevin and Olivia from Attack of the Show have it right:

Dearest Olivia, though i’m sure you are super high maintenance and kind of a snot, i’d like for you to stop by and molest me one of these days.

Karen O teamed up with a group of cohorts referred to as The Kids to create all the music for the upcoming Where the Wild Things Are. Stream the songs from the movie here. Check out the trailer – it looks awesome. Jim Henson would be proud:

Also, Harms just blogged about the screening of the film that we are putting on.

Mike Blowers picks (to the pitch count) a Matt Tuiasosopo HR during pre-game

Dave Niehaus loses it in only the best of ways

Make sure you go to SAFECO this weekend and check out the last M’s homestand of the year (could be your last chance to see Griffey, Beltre or even Felix)

Tonight at The Crocodile, The Presidents of the USA are playing with Krist Novoselic guest Dj’ing and other music types hanging out lending their support for 3 political candidates.

Tickets have gone from $200 to $200 suggested donation (they want people there, so give what you can).  VIP passes are still $350

More info is here

This is from Krist Novoselic’s Seattle Weekly blog about why he supports these candidates:

The music community is supporting Dow Constantine, Mike McGinn, and Peter Holmes for a simple reason: They have made clear that they will be supportive of issues of importance to our community. (Read about McGinn’s nightlife plans in this Daily Weekly post.) People need to know what kind of government will result from the election. Here’s why:

Stayed up late last night to watch this, dragging this morning

However, 100% worth it.

I listen to new music from all sorts of bands every single day and SDRE is better than them all.  I can’t NOT get excited when I watch this.

Get tickets to see them at the Paramount in October if you haven’t done so yet.

Wow! How many plugs for products can one show sneak in? Does this perhaps explain the low ratings that Leno is experiencing?

Do you buy products that Jay Leno loves?
How does his hair stay like that?
Have you watched one episode of Leno since Kanye’s appearance on day 1?
