Listen here, Air New Zealand, the idea of your newest video is to get passengers attention during the safety announcements on your plane. Check.

So someone came up with a seemingly great idea – have the flight attendants be nude but covered in body paint! So far so good. Then I watch the video (below) and WTF? What’s the point in painting these people up if you’re never gonna show a shot below the neck? Such a waste of my imagination and the artist’s time!

That’s 4 minutes of time i’m not getting back!

Dear Spokane,

What the hell is going on in your city? It seems like a crazy place to live. First there was the approval or medical marijuana distributors. Next came the organized crime of meat thieves. Now, a couple in Spokane has purchased a month old giraffe as a pet! Come on!

giraffe

These people have 13 acres and the giraffe, who couldn’t be reached for comment, shares the land with wallaroos and kangaroos. Later this fall, they plan to move the giraffe to a 12,000 acre ranch where he plans to learn the piano and kick footballs for a potential career in the CFL – come on, a giraffe in the NFL – let’s get serious.

Anyway, Spokane, you are nuts and very pretty:

When MJ first died last week…one of the first things I thought about was, “What happens to the Beatles Catalog?”

In 1985. Michael Jackson outbid Paul McCartney for the rights to the Beatles song-copyright catalog.  He paid the relatively low amount of $47.5 million for more than 200 songs, including  “Yesterday” and “Let It Be.”

“The story goes that one day at Paul McCartney’s house they were having dinner and Paul casually mentioned that the way to make real money in the music business is through publishing,” New York Times music reporter Ben Sisario told ABC News. “Michael took that to heart.”

Those songs are now worth more than a billion dollars.”

Paul McCartney said in 2006 “You know what doesn’t feel very good,”  “going on tour and paying to sing all my songs. Every time I sing ‘Hey Jude,’ I’ve got to pay someone.”

When Michael died Thursday, McCartney (who hadn’t spoken to Jackson out of anger for years) said:

“I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy man with a gentle soul.”

There have been a number of rumors that Jackson,  feeling badly about the broken relationship with McCartney, had plans to leave Sir Paul  the songs in his will.

You hope this is true, but as teams of lawyers and suits try to decide what happens with MJ’s money,  for now, it’s just rumors.
